Werner Player H2O-Team which is more popular? what would you recomend? thanks

werner.. I like the fiberglass, more connection with the water, less flex in the blade, more 'bite' on the water.

The lifetime warranty on the shaft is nice too.

Werner paddles are much more popular in the kayak circles I've been in.

I've paddled with both blades, I like the player over the H20.

I own the werner powerhouse, I actually liked it over the player, as the powerhouse has a much more powerful blade, and you can really feel the acceleration and bite when you paddle with it, the player felt more smooth but there was something that just felt a little off with it, maybe the downturned blades.. i dunno :dry:

anyways.. hope that helped at all, I probably just confused you..

I vote for the h20-team.
I paddle mostly on rather rocky rivers and like the fact that I do not have to worry to much about what I smash my blades against.
The werner player is also a great paddle. In my opinion the h20 team blade has beter power on the tip of the blade compared to the player. This comes in handy for playboating as you only have to put the tip of the blade in to get power and not the whole blade, great for quick playboating strokes. I have paddled with both blades and feel that for playboating the h20-team is a beter blade design than the werner.
