i'm looking for a full on creeker, i'm used to paddle a riot big magnum. i'm looking for a creeker that got the same quality as the big magnum, soft edge in front and a little bit on the stern to carve in the eddy

i like big creeker both the burn and karnalli LARGE got 80 gallons

the burn is the evolution of the h3 wich wasn't a full on creeker but the edge was soften on the burn

did somebody paddle both and could tell me the difference between those two boats?

I think the Karnali is more of a softer edged boat than the burn, but the burn still has pretty soft edges.

From what you're saying, the Burn would probably be for you - edges not too hard but can carve into an eddy.

I paddle the ammo, it's slightly shorter version of the burn with slightly harder edges. It works for me - I prefer to be able to carve in and out of the eddies easily and also want good turning.

If you can demo them, give them all a go :)

I started in a medium Burn and now paddle the large Karnalli.

Differences:
When you sit in the L Karnalli the cockpit is lower on your side than the M Burn. This give me more flexibility and movement while sitting in the boat. My roll is extremely easier with the Karnalli with the softer edges and the lower cockpit.

The edges are different. The karnalli with the softer edges spins easier but doesn't turn as quick unless you are very aggressive with your posture and strokes. (I have heard people complain that the Karnalli is a little slow when turning, and in fact yes if you sitting back in the boat. If you lean forward and plant you blade near the front you will find the boat turns quick.)

The Karnalli is a faster boat and boofs extremely well. The Burn has a little more rocker than the Karnalli but the rounded haul has a softer landing when landing flat. I have taken my boat over several waterfalls with no problems.

I had to change some of my paddling habits like carving across to river features. I don't seem to be able to carve as easily but getting to the features with the Karnalli is easy.

Overall:
Both boats are awesome creek boats. My switch from the Burn to the Karnalli was a result from and nice piton that broke my boat. Try both out and see what feels best for you.
