I have a Phoenix Cascade that is in great shape. I got it from someone who must of just had it in there basement for 20 years. I love paddling it down river and for attainments. Its 13'2" and maybe 27lb. Super fast and somewhat maneuverable. I am starting to think I like this type of paddling so much that I should sell the Cascade while its in such good shape and get a more durable boat. A boat that I could take over rocks in lower water or take in IV without being scared of breaking it. I am an advanced-intermediate paddler. I was thinking of the Speeder. I am not sure what I would lose or gain by moving to this type of boat. Its over a foot longer but 22lb heavier. Can anyone comment on the trade offs between these two boats. Thanks.
