I would take the Nomad, but there are plenty of other creekers to look at, like the Fluid Solo, Dragorossi Critical Mass, Bliss-Stick Mystic, Jackson Rocker, Prijon Hercules, Eskimo Salto to name a few. I personally don't like Jacksons, since I have seen the hull stiffener move in the kayak, which can't be good for it, and the outfitting just doesn't work for me. I was looking at the Prijon Embudo before I go my Solo, but I figured that it would cost $1400, like the Hercules, when it is much less.

Strange, you don't like the jackson outfitting.
I'm a mechanical design engineer. (for digital projectors) and I realy like the way the designs of jackson outfitting is "out of the box thinking". combining floating backs and adjusting foot position (happy feed) I realy like ( i have a 4 fun)
The idea of using the front pillar (foam) demping capabilities for a foot (anckles) protection, in case of a vertical pin. is also super i think.
By eleminating part this way recuses cost and weight.
I dont have a creekboat yet. When I will buy one I most deffenently look for a boat with strong(er) plastic. (crosslink or Blow molding)
Jackson rocker or hero, Eskimo Salto, prijon hercles

I don't like it since I couldn't really find a Jackson boat that fit me. When I was looking for a boat, the Hero was way too big for me and my thighs hurt, but I couldn't fit width-wise in the Sidekick because of the cockpit size. Once my local store gets a demo Little Hero, I will try to paddle it, but the only Jacksons that I can fit in are the Punk Rocker, which is my size, and the 2Fun, which is about the right size. As of last fall, these were the only boats that I could fit in from Jackson. Personally, I like basic seats like Fluid, Bliss-Stick, Dagger, Wave Sport, Pyranha, and LL, since they are comfortable, but still give good control. Even though they don't form to your body, that is one of the reasons why I like them, because I can move my knees out of the thigh braces easily on the flats, but it is supportive and a consistent, smooth texture.
