Help with the next In Between Swims - Questions for Eric Jackson? 16 years 1 month ago #25400

In an upcoming episode, Eric Jackson (of Jackson Kayaks) has agreed to sit down for an extended interview - similar to the piece I did with Whitewater Hall of Fame member Mick Hopkinson several months ago. To make it a little more interesting, Eric and I have decided to open the questions up to the In Between Swims listeners and the larger paddling community.

So, now's your chance. If there's something you'd like to hear EJ be questioned on and talk about - drop me a note at inbetweenswimsATyahoo.com. (Let me know if you'd like me to use your name or not).

I'll do my best to keep up with the forums but an email will be the most reliable.

And, if you missed the last episode, 'Back to the Core', you can find it at http//:www.inbetweenswims.com
or on I-Tunes at itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/...Podcast?id=216032223

Thanks for listening to 'In Between Swims - The Whitewater Podcast.' I hope everyone enjoys the shows.

By using crossed linked plastic. you can either have stronger boats with same wall thickness (and weight)
or same strenght and smaller wall thickness (less weight)
or somthing in between.

have creekboats (rocker and hero) bigger wall thickness then playboats (star and fun)?

Why would Jackson use crosslink that I've heard can't be welded, since if you get one crack, the boat would be ruined? Also, does JK plan to make a surf kayak in the near future? Why are the thigh braces so much further apart than the rest of US-made boats, like LL, Dagger, and WS?
