I am looking for a new kayak. My main thoughts are the Fluid Solo S,LL Remix 59, and the WS Diesel 65. I will primarily use it at the USNWC, but have an occasional lake paddle/5 mile river paddle (not WW). What is my best option. I would also look into a Dagger Green Boat/Prijon Cylone, but are they just too long for my use?

You are looking at very different boats.
As for any boat being too long for use at USNWC, you should consider that the slalom boats that train down there are 3.5 meters long. So, there is no reason to think that a Prijon cyclone would be too long.

I'll state my obligatory pitch for the DragoRossi Critical Mass. it's a drier ride than the Solo, Remix, or Diesel so ends up being faster and easier to handle in the heavy squirelly water.

I'm curious what boat you currently have that makes you motivated to look for a new one. That information might help people help you better.

I had a Pyranha S:7 /2, which for my 5' 5" height, was way oversized. Also, I am leaning towards more river running/creeking than playboating. Also, I am around 130 lbs, and I have looked at the JK Punk Rocker, which I liked the feel of. The only problem that I have with the Jacksons is that the thigh braces are too far apart.

I have looked at the L'il Joe, but I found it to be extremely unstable, especially for a planing hull boat. Also, I want a boat that has good speed and preferably peaked decks, as I don't plan on doing stern squirts, pirouettes, etc for a while.

With you hight and weight it wouldn't hurt for you to demo Bliss-Stick's Mini Mysyic. River runs, creeks and surfs a glassey wave with ease. It also has a peaked deck, good speed for 7'7" and an awesome hull design.

thanks. I will probably be heading up to Wakawai soon to check out the Solo, and I will try to look at the Mini Mystic.
