I need a little help please. I feel like this can't be rocket science BUT I'm very new to this and I just bought used/demo wavesport ezg 50 and it looks (and feels) to me like the thigh braces should move forward (or back). One screw on top comes undone and seems like it should move forward and back (little screw holes that look like it could adjust to) and one bigger screw however seems like it has no where to go or adjust to. (Hope that made sense!) How does this work? And one final question, isn't the seat supposed to adjust i.e. slide forward and back? I don't live in an area where there is anyone to help me with this so I'm totally learning as I go. Thanks!

Outfitting my Wavesport Forplay 17 years 5 days ago #21425

Ok, new to this forum... I bought a used Wavesport forplay not too long ago and im not happy with the outfitting. Im not sure if im too large, but the thigh braces are way too tight, and i was looking if anyone knows of a replacement set i could get, or how to modify them. In addition, i was looking to move the seat back a few inches, but when i loosened the screws, there seemed to be no play, do i need to remove the mini-cell foam behind it, or just loosen the screws for the seat a bit more. Was warned not to remove them, so im trying to be extra carefull. I noticed that the minicell foam behind the seat has a slit in it, presumably so that if the seat slides back, it fits deeper into the slit. Sorry if im not describing it right. Can any one suggest how to squeeze more room out of this boat!!!!

The only thing I can contribute is that when I loosened the screws to move the seat I REALLY had to slam the seat to get it to move (I was too timid at first) and it did. Everything took more force to move than I thought it would.
