running victoria falls 17 years 1 month ago #20662

on a recent trip to vic falls i decided to run the falls.

it was hectic!

getting out of the eddy my heart was racing, but the line is easy and you just paddle with serious commitment.
once you get to the \"point of no return\" there is little you can do other than sit back and enjoy the ride....erm....fall.

7 seconds of free-fall that is.

i punched the surface precisely as planned, and came up upright, i was stoked!

what a rush!!!

the hike-out from the gorge was a bitch though.

Nice one Kobus! You'are as tough as those crocodiles that go over the falls... :skull: Slow week at work....?

Either a damn good paddle, or you're a bad test pilot for paddles! hehehe

Eskimo stuff was always strong..

(I believe their new plastic is not as bomber as the old ones. Anybody know much about that?)
