!! - I'm buying a Playboat, Thoughts? Help Me plz 17 years 1 month ago #20658

So This is where I stand as of now. I've been paddling for almost 2 years now. I'm trying to get into playboating, can surf a little, and am starting to get the hang of cartwheeling, bow-stall, Stern-stall. So you can see that My tricks are limited as of now so I am looking for something that will make me excell in holes, waves, flatwater, and yes, maybe a little river running. Would like to throw loops.. big ones.

My dimensions:
6'1\"
180 lbs
Size 10 feet

My current boat is a JK 2007 4-Fun. (Way too big)
I've tested the All-star and Project p52. Felt a little too tall in the all-star, really liked the p52 but will suffer from scrunched toes. (which I don't mind for performance)

Looking at:
2007 JK All Star
WS P52
Dagger Agent
Dagger Kingpin
Any other Suggestions?

Would like something I can take down a class III+ without the feeling of impending doom.
&
Is the plastic in the WS and Daggers something to be concerned about??

Help! I'm so indecisive.:frustrated:

The small Fluid Spice is really tiny and you'd have to be probably less than 50kg to enjoy (and fit into) this boat. Also, not a pure play boat.. But a great boat at what it does anyway. Same with the EZG, not a pure play boat..

Fluid Nemesis for sure though. Check out my review:

Enjoy... and good luck. And don't forget to demo as much as you can!

I live in eastern Washington, so mostly play on medium features but will be taking trips to the wenatchee, snake, and salmon rivers.

Don't know anyone who sells Fluid boats around Spokane area or Tacoma/Seattle, About the crazy 88... isn't that discontinued??? seems like the kingpin has taken over the crazy's spot. (their design looks very similar)

I should mention that I'm looking around the $700-800 dollar range.

I cut my teeth in a 4-FUN, too. Then I bought a Super Star (I'm 6'2\", 190lbs dry). I love it and found the transition completely seemless. I have never tried any other outfitting that works as well for me.

I decided to get a project 52 and I'm very happy with it! When I demoed it along with the all star the eges felt close to the same, but the project felt a little more stable for my weight and fit a little better.. so.. bingo! plus $700 for a 2007 project! didn't even loose money when I sold my last boat.
