2010 Oban Sea Kayak Race results
The inaugural Oban Sea Kayak Race for single and double sea kayaks took place on Saturday 4th September 2010; preliminary figures suggest that the Race raised more than £1000 for Oban's lifeboat.
Covering a distance of 20km, the race circumnavigated the beautiful and rugged Island of Kerrera, beginning and ending at Oban on Scotland's beautiful west coast. It's a demanding route, through remote and exposed waters, but one that made for a memorable and fun event with more than 50 paddlers taking part.
