I have a question about the "Hands of God" system on my Shred Ready helmet. (Sorry if it doesn't make sense; I am trying to describe the problem in words) When I tighten the little blue wheels, the whole strap system just creeps up the back of my head, so that it doesn't really squeeze the helmet onto my head. The way the helmet system is described, I thought it was supposed to be tight on the lower back of the head. When I ajust it, it just slides up. Is this supposed to happen?

I got it in October, but I don't think it is a malfunction of the helmet, just a musunderstanding on my part. It's a Shaggy, and it is really nice (and warm too!)

It's a beautifully bright yellow. I bought it from the SR website as a "factory second" (meaning the paint is a little messed up), but I can't even see where it is blemished. So that saved me some money.

My only complaint (besides the HOG issue) is that one of the little snaps on the helmet (where you snap on the earflaps or headphones or whatever) broke off when I first used it, so the earflaps are useless to me. Oh well.

i've been using shred ready since years now...and never had a problem...when the hog (hand of god) came out i fixed it on my helmet and didn't have the problem of sliding up...

maybe you need to open it first all the way, then place the pad (of the backstrap) on the lowest part possible of the back of your head, then tightn the straps....(difficult to explain this in words)...

i do think that you have the strap already to high up on your head...

about the screw...i think SR has a one year guarantee..??...

About 3 days, but it only had to go from AL to TN. I think TX may take longer.
