The Reel Paddle film festival is a paddling film festival now running for the second year and this will be our sixth film festival we have sponsored since our group formed.

In the spring of 2007 the Paddlers for Parts Association ran the Reel Paddling Film festival and were pleased with the results. This is a busy time of year for everyone and there are lots of events here around the same time so it is hit and miss with the number of folks that can attend.
We have decided to run this event again as we enjoyed it very much last year and had fun doing it.
We find the festival gets the local paddlers thinking about break uo and seeing some water for the first time in months that isn't frozen. They usually charge out the door heading home to shovel out the boats from winter storage. There is still 5 feet of ice on the lake but it is weakening. Greg
