what is the best way to make room in the foot box of a play boat I tried pouring boiling water over it and had a friend with two sizes larger feet sit in it and that worked for a day but as soon as it got hot out the boat shrank back to original size i allready moved the seat back as far as it would go but my feet are still being crushed

About the only thing I can think of is to put the bow in the oven... heat it up then bend it out a little... but be careful!!!

Personally I think it would be safer to just sell what you have and buy another boat...

That doesn't sound like a good idea at all. As far as I know it takes only a little heat to make the plastic malleable enough to stretch/squash. Applying a lot of heat (such as an oven might) could result in a nice big hole.

I'd say the best thing would be to buy a boat that fits you correctly.

Shepakins,

I'd guess that maybe your style of boat has insufficient space in the bow for your feet. Worst case scenario here is that you get cramp in your feet & calves after a while which may prove problematic come getting out of the boat time.

I'd go with the other blokes & suggest you change the boat. If you heat the plastic & manage to reform it to a suitable shape will it still retain the handling characteristics the designers & manufacturuers put into it.

Pyranha's G3 is a nice roomy boat with good foot space; as a suggestion.

Have you cut out some heel space from the bow pillar? that helps.
