I enjoyed a lot in Lake Saimaa, the biggest lake in Finland. It is a sort of inner sea, with plenty of islands of very different size.

I'm not exactly the best paddler in the world, so I really need to feel safe when paddling.
I already own a Prijon Touryak with a rudder, and this has been the very first time I used a Perception Essence 17' (no rudder, but a skeg).

Pros / The Good
Nice tracking and good stability. A big kayak for big guys.
Cons / The Bad
The location of the day hatch. I'm afraid 'll never get used to have it behind me. I prefer to have it just in front of the cockpit.
