The Switch is a smooth and predictable playboat with good river running ability.
It is very stable in a hole and, in the Necky tradition, awesome on a wave. The transition from the high volume cockpit area to the low volume slicey ends is smooth, keeping the boat retentive, and making vertical moves easy. Wind it up and it initiates well off the bow or stern and is very balanced, allowing controlled cartwheels and stalls. Riding on a shallow "V" hull, the boat carves effortlessly from rail to rail, making for dynamic surfs. It is super loose on a wave, spins like a top and excels at huge aerial blunts. With Billy Harris winning the Canadian Team Trials and Alex Nicks taking first place at the Euros, the Switch has already proven itself a winning design.
