The Traverse is a great entry level stand up paddle board with the versatility to go from flat lakes to the small ocean surf.
The high nose rocker, thick water shedding profile and well rounded and forgiving sidewalls glide the board up and over waves and drops. This board is an amazing deal. At 400 bucks you cannot wish for a better river craft. I have run class 4 with this and it is outstanding. Get some padding for your knees and get out on the river.

About Me
I have been kayaking 8 years and SUP 3. I love both. Sometimes the gnar is just not what I feel like running...so SUP makes that local class 3 amazing whitewater all over again.
Pros / The Good
River worthy and removable skeg. recessed foot space for awesome lateral stability. tough plastic. the board acts like a kayak, which is what most are used too.
Cons / The Bad
its heavy, takes up a fair amount of rack space.
