About Me:: I'm from Yellowknife, and predominantly paddle the surrounding waters of the city, including many small lakes and rivers, and Great Slave Lake.

What boats do you paddle?: I currently paddle a 14ft plastic sea kayak, and use boats owned by my kayak club.

At 4:11am on July 11th, 2008, Greg Loftus ( Cominco) said…: Paddlers for Parts Fifth Annual Sociable is taking place July 25/26/27th at the YK River Bridge Day use area. We will be there all week end giving away boat rides and burgers etc. and playing water related games. Come along and have some fun. Teklll the club and come out and play, the more boats there are the more stuff we can get up to. Greg

Todauy I was gifted with a Nautiraid two folding kayak and I spend the afternoon (probably longer fitting it all together. Two seater rigged with mast, rudder and lee boards, truely a poor mans yacht. Many thanks to Mick and Amanda Mallon a treat to put together and tomorrow sometime she sails or at least paddles. Don't forget to invite your friends to join the group.

I just got back from Edmonton where I droppped my new squirt boat off at the air cargo hanger and it should be home tomorrow or the next day the latest I hope.
