New Years Eve free swim

I have received the final count from the pool staff and am quite pleased with it. One hundred and seventy-four folks decided to join us at the pool. Fun was had by all and we even received a free feed of Pizza compliments of Papa Jims Pizzas. This was a very generous touch and went down very well. We managed to give out a few donor cards and raised awareness of Organ and Tissue Donation . The Paddlers for Parts consider the final event of the year to be a huge success. The paddlers have just send another 281.00 dollars tothe Kidney foundation to support the Paddlers for pArtsBursary fund. This fund was established in 2001 and is used to provide grants to mature students that are living with kidney disease or post transplant that are attempting to improve their lives through education. We provide bursaries paid directly to the institution they are attending to help cover thir cost. The fund is supported by the paddlers Association and adminstered by the Kidney Foundation of Northern Alberta and the Territories
