Another day in Paraknife

The weather was great the rain stopped and the sun actually broke through. I managed to weed wack most of the nieghbourhood today and fixed Cynthias bicycle . Another day. another flat tire.
I have been busy making posters and getting things in place for the Paddlers Sociable. Been a small group means lots of stuff for everyone to do. Tonight I will post the announcements on various local web sites and contact folks that can help with flyerrs etc.
Hard to get everything done and still maintain your regular stuff as I run out of time. At six AM I have to be ready to blast off with the Volvo ocean race Leg 10, this will finish the race as we have already circled the world. Hard to believe that I began this race just after I started the Vendeeglobe in November 2008. They send out the stastics today of how long the virtually racers have been racing and the facts like time on lime etc is incredible. I will dig them out and post them as I was amazed that so many folks could commit to the game and stay the course. I wondered at times if it was worth it and in about 3 days I will know for sure.
I still plan on paddling this summer and looks like I will have to rearrange my life to fit that in. Considering I waited all winter for open water and now I'm busy.
