een years since I did any canoeing at all ,but there seems to be a growing interst in the sport here in Canada. I notice that it is very popular in Quebec and Ontario. I think the warmer water in those areas could be it, looks like a blast and I'll try it first chance I get. Cheers Greg
Hi Beereddy, how do you get on with the sniper, it looks an interesting boat. i'm going to demo one on Saterday, because im looking for a creeker, should be interesting. cheers,Charlie.
i see. i just saw you on the playak gallery sitting in a canoe, thats why i felt the urge to invite you :-)
i am developing the seakayak, touring, canoe and fishingkayak side of playak.
Wow!
You have actually padled more rivers in norway that i have done my self.
The one that you havent done yet, and you should, is the Etna. The upper part of Etna is one of my favorites. Very much like the Ula. And of course the raundalselva at voss.
If you`r going to do the breelvi and jostedøla, dont forget to do the short river from bergseth-glacier. just downstreem of the confluens of breelvi and jostedøla. I have heard its very nice.
HI.
Lived only 3 hours away, but never padled it. The main reason is becaus its freaking cold. You have to warm the water in your mouth befor you svallow, so the ice crystals dont damage your throut.
Breelvi is short and runs into jostedøla. Jostedøla is very long and hav some demanding rapids and a lot of boring, flat sections.
Not the best river in Norway. (my upinion)
Been to Norway before?
Bøyaelva have had 3 fatal accidents.....................
