I know this is the last ten pounds of winter, but we will eventually lose it and be into spring and with that open water. There are some big trips coming towards the lake this year. Just read about five ladies heading for the Arctic coast on a three river trip that includes a crux of a fifty mile portage to the rae river. Gung- ho how could you not like it.
