The problem i have found and mentioned before is putting the Triak on a roof rack alone, owing to that problem it has stayed in "dry dock". I mentiond the problem to the Triak company and they said the solution is ," load from the back using HULLY ROLLERS and MAKO SADDLES on the front, made by YAKIMA, also the best kayak cart for the TRIAK in their opinion is made by HOBIEi think it will be the UNIVERSAL. So in a couple of weeks on my next trip to Thunder Bay i will buy the parts made by YAKIMA, and if i can find one the HOBIE cart. The trail cart sold by oakorchard with some saddles added may be good but it dosn,t fold up small to go in a kayak, it,s really made for a canoe.

I have about ten photos i can reduce in size and post them to see if it helps. As regards the sail going up i assume it is going up and there are no "lines" which are in a jam cleat.

Joe my old Triak is now in a boat house on Lake Ontario without sails. I have been asked about the original Triak sails which i still have. Unfortunatly even with my photos i can,t remember how to rig them. Did you ever get any info from Triak? i have sent them emails but as usual no reply,s, i have also put a photo and request on the Triak facebook but again no results, and there are other people looking for the same info about rigging the sail on the previus boat. Can you help. Toronto is a two day drive away so i can,t just "pop" around an start trying to rig the boat.

No-- nothing from Triak. I don't think they have any old rigging diagrams. Mine is mostly rigged. I untied one sheet for transport, and am having trouble with it. I will make it my Columbus Day project to get the boat off its rack and work on it in the yard so I can take it out while the water is still reasonably warm. When I purchased it, the sail went up fine. I think I can get that one last thing rigged-- I used to work on a Schooner on the Chesapeake, and hope my rusty/frayed sailing skills are still somewhere in the ol' brain.

Joe i am not suprised that Triak didn,t help, customer relations is very poor. When this older Triak was the only one, on their web site they had a section called "members club",  it never served as such, but on it they said at the time rigging details were there, pity i didn,t copy them. When the new Triak came the web site changed and all the info disappeard. If by chance i find out about the rigging i will let you know.

Joe, i have been able to get Triak to put the rigging instructions on their web site for our Triak.  It is 10 pages which you can down load and keep.
